"We've worked with down home furnishings and the owner/designer anne carper over the last 3 years to decorate first our main house and then our guest house. Anne listens carefully to her clients to get a sense of their tastes and lifestyle before beginning a new project. She knows how to work within a budget when necessary, and her pricing is extremely reasonable and fair. She knows how to select pieces that are good value and with an eye for the details that make the space seem unique and interesting without seeming staged. You'll be very pleased with the results"

"Anne is attentive, responsive, and extremely talented. She got me out of my comfort zone and introduced new ideas for our house in Ojai. The end result is a house we love. I highly recommend Anne and Down Home Furnishings."

"Working with Anne and the DHF team was a dream. With a whole house to design and furnish she made what would have been an overwhelming task for me easy and enjoyable. She instinctively understood my style and guided me to carefully considered options that all worked together and seamlessly created an integrated esthetic. The end result was a beautiful home that reflected everything we wanted it to. I could not recommend Anne Carper and Down Home Furnishings more highly."
