Down Home Furnishings is a small family business. Located in the center of the Ojai arcade, we specialize in home decor and design.
Our showroom displays a select sampling of our sourcing potential.
We have an abundance of sources including all well-known design lines, small obscure importers who supply one of a kind pieces and local workrooms that custom build and fabricate.
We offer fine furniture, art, accessories, lighting, rugs, wall-to-wall seagrass flooring, custom window treatments, and interior design services.

Anne
Down Home's founder and lead designer. With over 30 years in the business, Anne has brought a design aesthetic that marries unique one of a kind items from around the world with high-end collections and custom furniture. Having traveled all over the world, her store carries a variety of special pieces that you can't find anywhere in the Ojai Valley. She aims to create spaces that are unique, interesting and inviting. She is a true local with a loyal following of lovely clientele. Her clients happiness means everything to her!
Meet The Team
Erin
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Erin supports all custom upholstery projects and managing our carefully curated fabric library. She works closely with both in-store and design clients, helping bring fresh ideas to life and guide upholstery selections from start to finish. Erin takes pride in working with many of today’s top textile brands and is constantly soaking up new knowledge to better serve each client and their space.
Tarah
LOGISTICS manager
Tarah is the backbone of Down Home Furnishings, serving as our logistics manager and administrative lead. Working diligently behind the scenes, she oversees purchasing, ordering, tracking, and receiving for both in-store inventory and private design clients. Tarah works closely with Anne to ensure every order stays on track, bringing organization, efficiency, and a keen eye for design to everything she does.
Lisa
RETAIL Manager
Lisa is our retail manager and front-of-store buyer, overseeing merchandising and the day-to-day retail experience at Down Home Furnishings. She works closely with walk-in customers, helping them find beautiful, thoughtfully curated pieces while ensuring the store is inviting and well-presented. With a strong eye for design and sourcing, Lisa can also assist with interior design projects, helping clients pull together finishes and furnishings to create a cohesive space.
